Purpose: The current use of Ultrasonic equipment is gradually increasing because it has no radiation exposure. and available in real-time by simply checking. In this study, quality control is performed with eight ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus in Department of Radiological technology of Shingu College to investigate suitability of the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus in our college.
Materials and Methods: Used Phantoms were a Multitissue Ultrasound Phantom(040GSE) of CHRIS company and ATS 535H, Used Probe was Convex Probe(2~7 MHz). We evaluate 6 evaluation item for Quality Control. evaluation items are Dead zone, Horizontal measurement Calibration, Vertical measurement Calibration, Axial & Lateral resolution, Focal Zone and Gray scale
Results: every device are suitable for Quality control, and we think that regularly Quality control is need for students to practice.
